FAQ

To begin, you will need a tablet device (such as an iPad or an Android tablet), a compatible stylus pen (like the Apple Pencil or Samsung S-Pen), and a PDF markup application installed (such as GoodNotes, Notability, Penly, or Xodo). Please note that our templates are not compatible with OneNote or Evernote.

Our digital planners are built as universal interactive PDF files. They run smoothly on iPadOS/iOS via GoodNotes or Notability, and on Android platforms using Penly, Noteshelf, or Xodo.

Yes, you can view and edit the planner on your computer using compatible PDF applications. However, since the layouts are optimized for stylus handwriting, editing on a computer is limited to typing text. You can also sync your progress across devices if your annotation app (like Goodnotes) supports cloud syncing.

While you can open the planner on a smartphone for quick reference, it is designed for larger tablet screens. The detailed layouts and templates might feel too small on a phone screen for comfortable writing or detailed planning.

We don't recommend printing the planner. It contains hundreds of pages designed specifically for digital use, and printing it would lose all interactive tab features, searchability, and hyperlink navigation, resulting in a suboptimal paper experience.

If you selected the incorrect planner type by mistake (e.g., minimal instead of ultimate), please send us a message on Etsy with your order details. We will gladly help you exchange it for the correct template!

No, all digital files purchased from TheEditPlan are licensed strictly for individual, personal use. Any form of redistribution, file sharing, commercial reproduction, or resale is prohibited by copyright law.

Because digital downloads are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all sales are final. However, customer satisfaction is our top priority! If you run into any issues, please send us a message on Etsy and we will resolve it for you.

Make sure your note-taking app is set to navigation/read-only mode rather than writing/edit mode. In GoodNotes, simply tap the pen icon in the top toolbar to toggle off the writing tools and enable click navigation.

This occurs when the annotation software is in edit mode. Switch off your writing tools (e.g., tap the crossed-out pen icon in GoodNotes) to activate the hyperlinks instantly.

You can duplicate any of the included blank pages or templates within your app, then copy and paste the duplicate page directly behind any of the section divider tabs.

Please check that your tablet has sufficient free space and your app is updated. If drag-and-drop fails, use the app's native 'Import' menu to load the PDF planner directly.

No, there is no need to delete unused pages. Think of the planner as an organized toolset; you only need to use the templates that fit your current workflow. We advise against deleting pages, as removing essential sheets (like monthly tabs or index pages) can break the interactive hyperlinks.

Since the planner is a PDF document viewed inside a markup application, the app's menus, toolbars, and system navigation take up screen space. To maximize the display area, try hiding the app's editing toolbar or enabling full-screen/presentation mode in your viewer.

We aim for absolute quality, but if you catch an error, please reach out to us via Etsy messaging. We will update the file immediately and provide you with a fresh download link.
